FONE LOGISTICS TOPS IN INDUSTRY SURVEY
The UK’s leading airtime distributor, Fone Logistics has been awarded the title of ‘Best Distributor of 2008’ by the Independent Mobile Phone Dealers Association (IMPDA).
The award marks a huge step for the Northumberland based company who won with over 2653 combined votes cast from dealers and distributors.
The IMPDA commented that, “Fone Logistics goes from strength to strength, as was shown by the popularity of the vote in winning this category. With a redesigned web site, which we found easy to use, clear and helpful to dealers, they have set themselves goals which they are hitting. Many are expecting more things from this company, and they have the capacity and drive to give it.”
Over the past year Fone Logistics has grown to become a direct distribution partner to 3 UK networks and has gained advanced distributor status with O2. It also has strong trading relationships with the leading manufacturers including Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
The IMPDA aims to support dealers and provide a platform for discussions between dealers, networks and distributors, with a view to improving the co-operation between them.
Fone Logistics sales and marketing Director, Julien Parven said: “We are honoured to have received this award. 2008 has been a tough one for the independent dealer market and we are extremely pleased that level of service Fone Logistics offers to its dealers has been recognised.”
Fone Logistics will be presented with its award later this month.
