TOP DEALERS SHALL HAVE A FISHY ON A DISHY

Fone Logistics is kicking off the New Year in style by launching a tasty Orange incentive with a BlackBerry twist, as its first promo of the year.

The leading mobile and airtime distributor will take its best performing Orange dealers over the first quarter of the year to Rick Stein’s ‘Padstow Seafood Cookery School’.

Winning dealers will learn how to make a fishy dish in the style of award winning celebrity chef Rick Stein where they will learn everything from filleting a plaice, stir-frying squid, braising brill to steaming sea bass and will dine in the evening to taste their own creation.

As part of its continual commitment to deliver value to its dealers, Fone Logistics will work with its existing Orange channel partners, as well as seeking new, on a points per connection matrix across all flavours of BlackBerry handset sales as well as rewarding business as usual voice connections.

Fone Logistics marketing director Julien Parven said: “To re-engage with the channel after the Christmas break, we wanted to give them something that had the wow factor and add a bit of excitement to the January blues.

“This prize is slightly more unusual than our previous incentives, because as well as being wined and dined dealers will also get practical hands experience of learning new cooking skills they can take home with them. We are inviting the winning dealer’s partners along too, so they can share the experience together as a couple. We hope that this will be a bit of fun.

“We will work with our current Orange channel partners and will also seek to recruit new dealers who would like to be in with the chance of winning this prize.

“There will be points set against voice connections and an overlay for each range or ‘flavour’ of BlackBerry, the dealers who accrues the most points will win this exclusive trip.”

The incentive, which will run from January to March 2010, will also allow the winning dealers who connect the most voice and BlackBerry devices on the Orange network to bring their partner on the cookery experience.

The all expenses paid trip, which hopes to take place in May 2010, will include a two-night stay at a plush hotel in Padstow on the north coast of Cornwall, the Rick Stein food master class, where they will also get the chance to dine in the adjoining restaurant and taste the food they have made.

There will also be time to relax and explore the beauty of Padstow or for those who are a bit more adventurous, Fone Logistics will also treat dealers to a surfing experience where they can hit the waves and learn how to surf at the local surfing school.

Julien continued: “It’s true that Fone Logistics is renowned for giving its dealers impressive money can’t buy incentives. This is part of our bid to significantly increase connections across all networks and deliver long-term value to our channel partners.”

“We are keen to support the volume of sales across Research In Motion's BlackBerry family of handsets. BlackBerry are masters of the business phone and it is attracting executives, and business users at all levels, with features such as push email, a well-designed keyboard, Wi-Fi support, internal GPS and big-screen browsing.”
